A new tomorrow is not your typical political film. It's a laugh out loud mockumentary that scores the Christian right, Lampoon's dysfunctional Democrats, takes aim at the war in Iraq, and parodies our political system. Oddball characters, irreverent dialogue, and outrageous political commentary provide insight into, and poke fun at, how we vote in America. They do very similar types of film and Theater at the Theater On The Edge on Orlando Florida. Check them out for incredible plays in Orlando. In 2015, Central Florida Community Arts propelled the main full period of the Theater Program. Not quite the same as the Summer Broadway Series, the all year Theater program is housed in a little Blackbox Theater setting, giving benefactors an increasingly private, in-your-face showy experience. CFCArts Theater, under the bearing of Donald Rupe, looks to deliver Theater that interests to a wide assortment of crowds. In every creation, our executive searches for a new point of view in previously settled plays and musicals. The fifth period of CFCArts Theater will start in July with Bye Birdie, trailed by Next to Normal, Twelve Angry Jurors, Sweeney Todd, A Christmas Story, and The Lion in Winter. We will at that point be creating the 2019 Orlando Fringe Smash Hit From Here Written and Directed by Donald Rupe with Music by Jason Bailey and Donald Rupe. We will end the season with the Disney Classic Cinderella. For tryout data please visit our Audition Page to save a tryout time.
"A new tomorrow is a really welcome breath of acid social criticism that arrives just in time for the home stretch of the 2008 presidential campaign."
Here is some fun information on the US political system:
The United States is a federal constitutional republic, with a presidential regime as a form of government based on the separation of powers in three branches: executive, legislative and judicial. What do each of these terms consist of?
FEDERAL SYSTEM. Federalism is the political system by which the functions of government are divided between a central power and associated states. A system of which the USA is a pioneer in theory and practice. The Federal Government exercises exclusively the minimum and indispensable competences to guarantee the political and economic unity of the nation, in matters such as foreign policy and defense, opposing systems based on a unitary or centralized state. The rest of the competences correspond to the federated states or they are exercised in a coordinated way in both levels of government, as in the case of the Education policy. Porte under the federal power is the power of the states (today 50) and after them, the local power, which takes multiple forms and has as a basic administrative unit the county. For its management each state has an elected governor and a legislature of its own.
PRESIDENTIALIST REGIME. Presidentialism is a system of government created in the United States, contrary to parliamentarism, which has the following fundamental characteristics:
The President concentrates all the executive power, since he is at the same time Head of Government and Head of State. The executive branch is completely separated from the legislative branch: The President is directly elected by the voters in presidential elections independent of those of the legislature. There is no link between the executive branch and the majority political party in Congress. Members of the presidential cabinet can not be members of Congress. CONSTITUTION OF 1787. The supreme law that governs the operation of the United States was adopted on September 17, 1787 in the Constitutional Convention of Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), and then ratified by the people in conventions in each state. The essential aspects of the Constitution are:
It contains all the fundamental rules of the nation. It establishes the form of government and guarantees the rights and freedoms of the American people. It distributes the power of the Federal Government in three differentiated powers: executive, legislative and judicial, and establishes a system of checks and balances known as? Checks and balances, to guarantee the balance between them. Regulates the division of powers between the Federal Government and the states. In addition, it establishes that any competition that is not explicitly granted to the Federal Government (or implicitly derived from the constitutional text) will remain in the hands of the States of the Union. Includes 27 subsequent amendments. The first ten amendments, adopted in 1791, make up the so-called Bill of Rights? (Declaration of Rights) and guarantee the freedom of expression, religious, press, the right of assembly, the right to file lawsuits against the Government and a series of individual rights in procedural aspects and judicial proceedings. EXECUTIVE POWER. Formed by the President, the Vice President, the President's Cabinet composed of the 15 Secretaries of departments (equivalent to the ministries), the Office of the President (administrative organizations) and the independent agencies of the Government (such as the CIA, the FBI or the FDA ).
